MIRA YOUNG
Mira’s acting journey began in eighth grade when she was cast as Juliet in her middle school’s production of Romeo and Juliet. In high school, she discovered how deep her passion for acting went while spending her evenings training in Meisner technique with Tony Savant at Playhouse West Philadelphia.
Hungry for more experience and training, Mira began her undergraduate career at New York University Tisch School of the Arts where she trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. While at Tisch, Mira also interned for companies such as Darren Aronofsky’s Protozoa Pictures and has had the opportunity to work on a plethora of short films as both a casting director and producer.

These experiences have helped her realize the importance of creating your own opportunities and continuously working to develop and deepen your craft as an actor. She is currently developing a short film with Tisch Film graduates—which she will also star in—and is excited to explore further performance and producing opportunities in the upcoming years.
